Having worked in many areas of the property industry over more than 25 years, John brings an impressive knowledge base with him to ICMS. He is an architect with experience in building design, property development and building construction. John is also the CEO of Stronger Pty Ltd, a company undertaking property services, including renovations, refurbishments, extensions, project management and project development. Other industry roles include being the Registrar of Designs in the Australian Patent, Trademarks and Designs Office.

Juliet has more than 25 years’ experience in the event, hospitality and tourism sectors, in Australia and internationally. With a background in management roles with Accor and Dockside group, she currently runs EventED, a venue marketing and training consultancy and has worked with a diverse range of clients including World Youth Day, Bob Wood Travel Group, Hard Rock Café, the American Club Sydney and Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji. At ICMS, Juliet brings with her more than 14 years of lecturing experience in the event, hospitality and tourism sectors.

Alex’s experience in the hospitality industry spans three decades in the areas of kitchen management, food and beverage, and housekeeping. As a young apprentice Alex gained his formal chef qualification at Adelaide’s world-acclaimed Regency College achieving the highest college accolade of ‘most outstanding student’ in his final year of study. Alex then competed in many culinary competitions at a national level achieving outstanding results, notably the ‘Golden Chefs Hat’. His experience working in five-star hotels and fine dining restaurants throughout Australia and in London includes stints at The Regent Hotel Melbourne and Thomas Goodes Mayfair London. At ICMS, Alex has taught hospitality subjects for more than 10 years and is the Food and Beverage Lecturer in our Grand Dining Room.

A seasoned marketer with more than 30 years’ experience on both the consultancy and client side, Martin has held senior management roles with organisations as diverse as Time-Life Books and The Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia. In the last decade he has specialised in the not for profit sector and corporate training, specialising in membership engagement and marketing strategy. He regularly advises boards on branding and positioning strategy. Martin ran his own direct marketing agency and his work for various clients has been recognised by the Australian Marketing Institute and the Public Relations Institute of Australia. A lecturer at a tertiary level since 1990 he is passionate about teaching young adults the whole range of marketing subjects and excited about new marketing tools and techniques in the digital age.
